- The Chamber effectively represents member’s views and interests with decision makers in the district council, county council and other bodies.
- The Chamber is now well placed to serve the needs of the wider business community in Wem; also through our affiliation with the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce we support the promotion of training either in the workplace, or by means of numerous relevant courses.
- As a member, you are entitled to stand for election and to nominate other members onto the board. You are also invited to attend monthly meetings to add your weight to our voice and network with other members.

Consultation
The chamber consults its members on all relevant business and commercial matters, which affect the Wem area. If you have a business issue which is causing you problem, let us know. The chamber is keen to promote new enterprises that bring jobs to this area.
